Who we are
Faith Baptist School is a christian institution educating the minds and hearts of Preschool, Elementary, and High School students. We are a theologically conservative, Bible-believing institution, focused on developing both the intellectual knowledge and the faith foundation of every student.
Academic material is presented from a distinctively Christian approach founded upon God’s Word and the importance of a biblical worldview. Teachers lovingly seek to see the heart nurtured and the mind exercised to develop students who are wise stewards of the abilities their Creator has entrusted to them.
Ministry of Faith Baptist Church
FBS is a ministry of Faith Baptist Church of Fredericksburg, VA. Our entire ministry is underwritten generously by the loving church family at Faith. Faith Baptist Church is a healthy, thriving, Bible-believing church, passionately engaged in gospel ministry throughout this region and around the world. We would love to serve your family through both our church and school.
We presently partner with Christian families from strong churches all over Northern Virginia, and we look forward to meeting you soon!
Preschool
2 yrs. old — K-4
Faith Baptist Preschool and Childcare Center is open year-round and offers a wonderful academic program.
Our hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM – 6 PM. Academics are taught daily from 8:30 AM – 12 PM for ages two through four years. We also offer relaxed and fun extended care before and after academic time.
Our mission is to cultivate a nurturing, caring, and safe environment in which we may foster the spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth and development of our students.
High School
7th — 12th Grade
Each High School class at FBS is designed to encourage students to push themselves academically. Students are taught how to study and prepare for challenges that they will face in college and beyond.
Chapel is held every Friday and bible classes are taught two days a week. Bible classes are taught by trained pastoral staff and focus on helping the student develop a Biblical world view. Chapel speakers include pastoral staff at Faith Baptist Church and other Bible teachers. Chapel messages are focused on challenging the students to maintain their walk with Christ and live out the gospel in their everyday lives. Students are encouraged to maintain a dedicated relationship with Jesus Christ.
Accreditation
FBS is an accredited member of AACS which is one of the leading organizations of Christian schools in the country. The AACS serves over 100,000 students and teachers in member schools throughout the United States.
FBS has been an active member of ODACS (Old Dominion Association of Christian Schools) since 1979. ODACS provides valuable services and activities to Christian schools operating in Virginia as ministries of independent Baptist churches.
As an accredited member of NACSAA (North American Christian School Accrediting Agency), FBS credentials are officially recognized by both the Virginia Council for Private Education and the National Council for Private School Accreditation.
Elementary
K-5 — 6th Grade
All elementary aged children are loved and cared for in a positively reinforced learning environment that promotes exploration and interaction.
Social skills, emotional growth, cognitive reasoning, physical development, creative processes and spiritual growth are critical components of our curriculum.
In addition, each elementary class is introduced and taught technical skills that will help prepare them for success as they progress at ECA.
